The ARTx3 Campus will host an awards reception for The New Brownies Book: The Exhibition | A Love Letter to Black Families in the Loft Gallery at The ARTSpace on Main.

The reception is free and open to the public.

The New Brownies Book: The Exhibition | A Love Letter to Black Families is an inspiring show celebrating heritage, imagination, and the enduring beauty of Black families. The exhibition features work by Lillian Blades, Kevin Cole, Alfred Conteh, Keef Cross, Paul Goodnight, April Harrison, Leonard Maiden, Marryam Moma, Tracy Murrell, Charly Palmer, James Ransom, and Tokie-Rome Taylor.

The exhibition is inspired by The New Brownies' Book: A Love Letter to Black Families (Chronicle Books, 2023), by artist and illustrator Charly Palmer and historical and cultural sociologist Dr. Karida L. Brown.
