Investigate surface tension by carefully adding drops of water to a coin and counting how many it can hold before the water spills over. This simple activity will help you observe how water molecules stick together and form a rounded dome on the coin.
Visitors may drop into the Creative Construction Zone during regular visitor hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday).
