Create snowflake designs using glue while exploring the properties of materials and how liquids can change as they dry. Observe how the glue starts as a liquid and becomes a solid, forming a snowflake-shaped structure. You will experiment with different designs and shapes while making predictions about how your snowflakes will look when dry. This activity combines science, creativity, observation, and hands-on exploration.
Visitors may drop into the Creative Construction Zone during regular visitor hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday).
Next Gen STEAM Exhibition Series can also come to your class or workshop; contact Stephanie Johnson-Carlton at sjcarlton@artx3.org or (870) 536-3375 to schedule a presentation.
