Got words? We've got a stage! Join us for The Write Stuff: Pine Bluff Poetry Slam, an evening celebrating creativity, self-expression, and the power of the written and spoken word! Whether you're a seasoned poet, an aspiring writer, or simply someone who loves a good story, there's a place for you. Hosted by Danny Burl, the evening will feature cash prizes for our top performers.
The evening will kick off with an open mic, giving participants the opportunity to share their original poetry, spoken word, and creative writing in a welcoming environment. Then, we'll turn up the energy and move into the poetry slam, where competitors will take the stage and put their words to the test!
Prizes are: $100 for First Place and $50 for Second Place.
There is no cost to watch or participate. Register at the link above. Day-of sign-ups will also be available.
Whether you're ready to compete, share a few lines, or sit back and enjoy the talent, come be part of an evening where words take center stage. You've got the words. We've got the stage. Let's hear what you've got!
